The Women in Cleantech and Climate (WIC) program, a partnership between MaRS Discovery District and RBC, is designed to accelerate the growth of women-led ventures in the clean technology and climate sectors. Recognizing the persistent gender gap in cleantech entrepreneurship, the program provides selected cohort members with intensive business development support, mentorship from industry leaders, access to investors, and connections to strategic partners. Participants are equipped with the tools and networks needed to scale their solutions — from early-stage innovation through to commercialization — while contributing to Canada's clean growth economy and climate goals.
