Where is The Liveability Challenge Finale held?

The Liveability Challenge 2026 Grand Finale venue will be announced at a later date.

What are the benefits to participating in The Liveability Challenge?

The teams with the most ground-breaking solutions will be mentored to refine their pitches and proposals, through an intensive month of coaching by leading experts. They will get to pitch their solutions at The Liveability Challenge Grand Finale, for a chance to win up to S$2 million in funding and other exclusive opportunities.

In addition, finalists in the Decarbonisation thematic will have access to up to S$2 million in development funding, which includes access to technical experts, incubation programmes, and testbed facilities. This will support finalists to pilot their solutions in Singapore and explore opportunities for scaling to global markets.

What is The Liveability Challenge?

Started in 2018, The Liveability Challenge is a global call for viable, groundbreaking solutions to some of the greatest problems facing cities in the tropics in the 21st century. Finalists stand the chance to secure more than S$4 million in investments and development opportunities across both thematic areas to fund their game-changing solutions.

Who owns the Intellectual Property (IP) developed during the pilot (if any)?

Any intellectual property (IP) created during the pilot under TheLiveability Challenge programme (“foreground IP”) will be governed by a separate agreement between the winning team and the industry partner.
