Foo Chay Chong

Foo Chay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He began his professional career in 2006 with Sulzer Chemtech Pte. Ltd. as a Process Engineer, and later joined Lanxess Butyl Rubber Pte. Ltd. as a Production Engineer in 2011.

In 2016, he joined Evonik as a Process Engineer at EMSEA. Two years later, he assumed the role of Assistant Plant Manager at UTO and subsequently took on the same role at MMP in 2021. In his current capacity, Foo Chay has led various process improvement projects and also served as the project responsible for Project SIMEX.

In October 2024, Foo Chay stepped into his current role at Evonik as Site Technology Manager.
